The Fall of the Garden

Su Lund's debut novel, The Fall of the Garden, the first book in The 0929 Collection, tells the story of a society rebuilt by women after the collapse of civilization. They promised peace. They took the nation in the name of safety, rebuilding it from the ashes of war and violence. A world reborn, purified, and orderly. To the outside, it looked like salvation. To those within, it became something else entirely.

Aster has spent her life following every rule, believing obedience was the price of survival. All she's ever wanted is to be a mother, to do her part in the world's renewal. But when her baby is born, the life she's built begins to crack beneath the weight of what she's been taught to believe.

As Aster fights to protect what she loves, she's forced to confront the truth behind the perfection - and the terrible cost of maintaining it. In a nation built on control, her acts of defiance could bring the whole garden crashing down.

About Su Lund

I'm Su Lund, an author and storyteller drawn to exploring the human experience through grounded and emotionally charged worlds. My writing blends realism with dystopian themes, focusing on how people adapt, endure, and find meaning when systems begin to fail. I approach each story with the intention of challenging perspective, creating work that feels both intimate and hauntingly possible.

Though I am a newly published author, storytelling and writing have been lifelong passions. Spinning tales with my grandma, who shared my love for storytelling, helped me develop my vivid imagination and find joy in creating my own worlds.

Through my work, I strive to uncover truth, connection, and the quiet resilience of the human spirit.
